Free, no sign-up. ## What does the AI visibility tool check? The checker groups its tests into three blocks. **AI crawler access.** We read your robots.txt and look for rules that block GPTBot and OAI-SearchBot (OpenAI), ClaudeBot (Anthropic), PerplexityBot and Google-Extended. We also check whether you publish a /llms.txt file, whether the page carries a noindex tag, and whether the content arrives in the HTML or needs JavaScript to appear. Many AI crawlers do not run JavaScript: if your site only paints its text in the browser, it looks empty to them. **Technical signals.** Title and meta description, a single H1, canonical URL, lang attribute, Open Graph tags and JSON-LD structured data (Organization, FAQPage and similar). **Citable content.** Whether the first paragraph answers the page topic directly, whether headings are phrased as questions, and whether there is enough text for a model to extract an answer. ## How do you read the score? Each check has a weight, and the score adds up the weights of the checks that pass, up to 100. AI crawler access in robots.txt is worth 15 points. Noindex, content visible without JavaScript, llms.txt and structured data are worth 10 each. Question headings and an answer-first opening paragraph add 15 between them, and the rest (title, description, H1, text length, canonical, language and Open Graph) share the remaining 30. Failures appear first, sorted by weight. As a rough guide: above 80, the page is well prepared and the remaining work is content. Between 50 and 80, there are technical gaps you can fix in a few hours. Below 50, something usually blocks the page from AI answers, and you should fix that first. The score measures whether AI can read and cite the page. It does not measure your authority, your backlinks or whether ChatGPT mentions you today: that also depends on what gets published about your company elsewhere. ## Why check one page and not the whole site? AI search engines cite specific pages, not domains. Your homepage can be perfect while your services page, the one that answers what your customer searches for, has a forgotten noindex or loads its text with JavaScript. We recommend checking at least your homepage, your main service page and one blog post. If all three fail on the same point, the problem sits in your site template, and you fix it once for every page. ## What should you do with the results? Start with the failing checks that block access: robots.txt rules, noindex and content that does not appear without JavaScript. Then fill in the technical basics (title, description, canonical, JSON-LD). Finally, rewrite the opening paragraph so it answers the page's main question. We only ask for your email if you want the detailed report with the fixes. ### Is an AI SEO checker the same as an SEO audit? It shares many checks with a technical SEO audit (title, H1, canonical, noindex, structured data), and adds the ones that affect AI search: GPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot access, llms.txt, content without JavaScript and answer-first paragraphs. It does not review backlinks or page speed. ### If I score 100, will I show up in ChatGPT? It is not guaranteed. A high score means AI can read and cite your page without obstacles. Whether it does cite you also depends on content quality, the competition for that query and how often other sites mention your company. ### Should I block or allow GPTBot and ClaudeBot? It depends on your goal. If you want to appear in answers from ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity, allow at least their search crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot). Blocking training crawlers is a legitimate choice, but make it knowing what it does to your visibility. ### What is an llms.txt file? It is a text file at the root of your site that summarizes what the site contains and links to its key pages in a format a language model reads easily.
